Dropped the bike. Ouch!

Seems that most drops are while backing, moving the bike around, poor reach to the ground. I never back with my Bride on the bike. All it takes is some sand or gravel while pushing with your feet, couple that with a reach issue and its gonna happen. When moving the bike around I always mount the bike. I see people stand beside and push ti around, that too is a recipe for disaster IMO.

I am also new to HD, owned a Yamaha for the last 6 years. I dropped my new Electra Glide UC in the garage on day three of ownership. Fortunately, the butt technique worked for me. It's embarassing; I remember telling my wife and her saying "well, at elast you got that one out of the way"
