It is a little harder to set it up off the kickstand.I parked on my driveway sideways,driveways at an incline.And it took a few tries.

Congrats on your new ride.
You'll get used to the weight of it before long.
I use my upper body weight and left inner thigh to get the Ultra off the stand.
Along with planning my parking position helps me too.
