    It is a little harder to set it up off the kickstand.I parked on my driveway sideways,driveways at an incline.And it took a few tries.

    The dry weight of my 05 is 850 lbs if memory serves me, not sure what the new one's weigh.

    Congrats on your new ride.
    You'll get used to the weight of it before long.
    I use my upper body weight and left inner thigh to get the Ultra off the stand.
    Along with planning my parking position helps me too.
