I was just going to post that I hoped the CT scan gave you good news... Man, that is a bummer. Hang in there, you'll be right as rain soon enough.

Well, good news that you do not need surgery!
Dropped mine a few weeks ago, but had no where nere the injury you have. Take it easy, heal completly and have the bike fixed, on the bright side you can spend more time here
As has been said already, wait until you are completly healed before riding again, It will hapen before you know it. Six weeks seems like an eternity in the beginning, but by the fith week, you will wonder where the time went.
