Tire size dilemma

I'd like to ask a Moderator to CLOSE my Post titled "Tire size dilemma".

I appears to have run it's course and beyond. Thanks for your help and attention. I now know more about tires than I ever thought I would. Just ask me anything.

There's a lot of information in the posts on the forum and closing them for any reasons other than eliminating arguments isn't a normal practice.:s

It's not something that is arbitrarily done because a posters question was answered..

I did the same 18" swap on my bike and have tried many tires. the Metzler is gonna be taller than stock and taller than the 130/70-18 because the width affects the height. but i have run that size it will be fine. stay away from 150's they will rub on the belt when you backup. front and rear dosent make much differance if your using a front on the back just put it on backwards so the tread is going the right way.

I have found that a Shinko 140/60-18 is as close to stock height as you can get with an 18. its the only brand I can find that makes a tire in that size.
