Thanks for this poll I am about to do the first change and am wanting to syn just didnt know wich holes to put it in. That is what I like about it here if you a question it has most likely already been asked and answered.

Changing to Amsoil at 5000 miles.

Mobil 1 syn at 18,000 km.

Wanted to change over at 5000 service but the dealer had the oil & filter changed before I told them I wanted synthetic. So...I waited till 10,000 and did it myself. Amsoil 20W-50 all three holes.

Please use a gear oil in the trans, possible redline or Spectro gear oil instead of engine oil.

Just did my first oil change on my 2007 ultra ( bought used ). Switched to synthetic all around ( Lucas ). 13k on the bike. Mechanic sold me on the bennies of synthetic.

Tried Synthetic in my 03 classic Too much engine noise ,went back to Hd oil an lucas additive in all 3 holes . Find this to be a lot quieter
