Your ride you decide Lowering Shocks - Harley Davidson Community here is some good reading, you can use the self help section here for more on suspension. I have lowered 2 baggers IMO I would never do it again JMO:s

the only reason i ask, is because when you think Harley Davidson, you think gliding down the highway not a roughish ride. mine is lowered already, but what if i brought it back up? would the ride improve?

You would be back @ stock ride height and the handling would be improved, especially when riding 2 up or loaded with gear

Stock height for me. Only one that was lowered and I wouldn't do it again.

That's your choice but the sportys ride a bit rough either way.

Stock. If I were short I would consider lower but that would be the only reason.

JMO, but I never was a fan of lowering bikes...just doesn't look right (Shriner Clown). If you elect to raise bike, might want to look at good set of shocks...like Progressive...

Stock all the way. Best ride and handling as bike was designed for.
