Snapped clutch cable on new bike at 1,100K!!

It happens, could just be a bad cable. I had it happen to me a few years back (more than I care to remember), before HOG, I was on the California coast and snap the little lead peice came off. I was able to limp to a bike shop and get a new cable. That was back when HD had no warrenty. Just make sure if it is at the clutch end they get all the little pieces out.
