oil cooler

put my jagg 10 row verticle cooler on went from 260 to 225 deg..

jagg 10 row on my rk. jagg had a much lower prssure drop across the cooler than the h-d unit (10 row jagg vs. 8 row h-d) the jagg has turbulators which spin the oil to keep the frictional surface changing and mixing to disipate more heat. coolers.

well I went and bought the HD one because I had 200.00 worth of money on my HD rewards card and the dealer let me have it for 269 out the door so I came 69 out of pocket.

No oil cooler needed. My engine runs just fine! My friend has an 86 Road King with 135,000 miles on it, an oil cooler has never touched his bike, nor has he had to crack the cases in the lower end. Harley builds engines to last, otherwise they would have put oil coolers on years ago. So the worrying stops here!
