Lowering A Road King?

I was lucky on my "93" Ultra. All I had to do was flip the rear fork. I don't think you can do that on newer models, but mine helped me.

I had my seat lowered by MCC about an inch. Looking at the seat, it still looks completely stock, but it is more comfortable on long rides than stock.

I lowered my road king and two of my friends lowered theirs, for me I liked the ride and if you ever have to move the bike around on grass parking, like at the 110th , that 1" helps push around the bike and looks cool too.

I respectfully disagree......But to each his own.......:D

Ran across this old thread, but love the bike's stance. Gunslinger if you're still there, can you tell me how much you lowered the front and rear, as well as what products you used? I'm thinking about lowering my RK 1" maybe 2" using Progressive Suspension springs/shocks. Also, do you find you scrape your foot boards much more than stock?
