Going to see some Friends I haven't met yet...

Spectacular ride today! Most of it was absolutley Breathtaking! I only have a few pictures to post, however, it wil lhave to wait a couple days. My moble device can' t load pictures from the camera. I plan to be home Monday (Tuesday?) :)

For me, this was more like a great conversation that also included a good ride. It was like reading this forum, but live, and lively! For this occasion I would have been just as content sitting around a table just Talking... about HD.

However, the ride was what it was about today, and what a ride it was! The Tank picked some of the best roads I've ever been on. I also liked the pace. I was often the slowest getting ready to go from each break but I had a little help from Bubbie. When he speaks, I just want to listen. In this group, it's easy to see that I'm still a little green in the skill department. It didn't seem to bother Tank a bit.

I would do it all over in a heartbeat with all of the these Friends that I've finally met!

CHEERS Gentlemen, and Thank You for having me along!

Had a blast myself, next time I'm in for the long haul. How'd you like the ride through the Salt River canyon?

About 40 minutes ago I rolled back into my garage after a great ride of 430 miles. Ferrous, BUBBIE and myself did the whole route. Hogrotten rode to Superior, AZ for lunch then went back home from there. r_k_dragon came all the way from Yuma, AZ to have coffee with us this morning.

Some new friendships were made today. :s

I will post a few pictures later. :D

Good day all the way around, I had just shy of 300 miles myself when I got to the house. Next time I'll bring some sunscreen and a face shield for my helmet.(Pesky Bees). :D

Ya ALL are having Way too much FUN, But that is what it is all about, hoping others here might take up the call(hint-hint) and organize their own rides. I am looking forward to Biketoberfest and Salt Springs next February already:s Ferrous be safe and keep the reports coming:D

Great photos and it sounds like you had a great ride. Sorry to have missed it, but will make the next ones for sure.

I consider my self only a novice among the rest of you, however, I did manage to stay out of the Canyon and on the Road. I attribute some of that to Tank. On the ride, Bubbie said about Tank, "he doesn't ride slow, he doesn't ride fast, he does ride 'half-fast' ". Reminder... I am only repeating what Bubbie said. I thought the pace was just right. I never felt the need to "hot dog" around the curves just to keep up. Tanks pace DID allow me to have a good look around, like I said, much of the scenery was breath taking!

My sense of direction has gone foul again. I seen to have landed on a different planet. Inhabitants of this planet refer to it as, "Las Vegas". This planet is filled wilth lights, millions of them! Some of these lights warn you of eminant danger such as "Loose Slots". Other lights are more helpful, like the one that says, "Prime Rib Special, $9.99". As a service to the members here I investigated the Prime Rib Special and found it to be very tasty. If you find yourself here you can find this special in a place called, "The Wild Onion". It is inside of something called a, "Casino". They call the Casino, "Hooters". I also discovered an interesting game called, "Roulette". The premise is simple, you give the attendant money. Then they give you more money than you gave them. After a while they take back all of it. Including the original amount you gave them.

So are you gonna run 95 all the way to Reno?, or are you gonna go through Carson City? :newsmile071:

I'd like to, but think I'll head home at a nice leasurely pace today. Instead of racing home tomorrow.

The Bike is already packed. Check out is next, maybe one more blast down the strip then home. The web map says 500+ miles and over 9 hours. That gets me home later than I want but I still have Tuesday to goof off.

More to follow...

Cheers!
