I know this is old, but stumbled on it since I was looking for info on the E3 plugs. It is funny the manuals and Fix My Hog insist on OEM plugs. I was running rich and needing a carb rebuild on my 01 FLHT and decided to drop these plugs in—I also got two for $12 on Amazon and there was a huge difference that even my wife noticed. Now since the carb has been rebuilt, I don’t know to be honest except a slight (very slight)bump in MPG. I am glad there is talk on this subject and also know some Harley god is not going to roast me for none HD plugs in...
