I'm curious, does anybody have any documented proof that ANY engine oil has for a fact caused engine failure? I don't mean 10,000 mile oil change or just plain neglect on the oil filter, engine oil. I've read alot of stuff here and a ton of other sites, and have not read ANY engine failure directly caused by this or that oil.

Go to Bob the Oil Guy site. You'll find all the information you'll every want to know about oil. Lots of good basic info about oil and mostly unbiased.

Various owners have done oil analysis on different oils and they have a motorcycle section.

Have read all that many times. But no engine failure directly related to oil.
