One thing to look at. Pull the dash loose and look at the connector for the speedo. Is the pink wire hooked into the connector? The speedo/tach combo comes with a wire to complete the connection if the pink wire is not in the connector. The instructions are straight-forward and it's easy to install. Had mine on and working in about 25 minutes.
