But this is a 2010 POSE. And mine was sold as 2011.

That's a POSE (Peace Officers Special Edition) tank badge and pinstripes

I was wondering about that, but I thought you had to be an active or retired cop to get one of those.

There is a time limit and once past, the POSE bikes can be sold to general public..

Well, maybe not.



Here's a Harley site that show the medallion for the Peace Office bike, and it looks just like mine. The Shrine bike looks to have a decal.

All the Special Edition (Shrine, POSE and Firefighter) are technically "Shrine" bike according to VIN number. Trust me, you have a 2011 POSE Road King.

I bought a classic in 08 and had it turned mostly back into a regular Road King. I did not like the leather bags, the wire spoke wheels, the white wall tires and the turned up slashed mufflers. Changed all of that for hard bags, cast wheels, black wall tires, and the square cut tapered mufflers. I still have that years classic tank medallion and the unlighted fender tips. Without knowing anything about the history of your machine, that same sort of thing might have been done to it before you bought it.
