I recently bought my 07 Sportster 1200C from a local Harley dealer here near Ft Jackson, while on TDY. It has 12,800 miles on the ODO. After speaking with the maintenance department, I found no records of services. So, being cautious, I decided to change the engine and primary/tranny fluids. Of course, the engine oil was a breeze; the primary/tranny was a different story. I could not get the bolts off the derby cover to save my life. I had to remove the bolts from the chain inspection cover, only to find blue locktite on the bolts. So it's only safe to say that there is more of the blue stuff on the derby bolts. I had to refill the primary through that small opening with a small funnel...FML. I'll eventually have to get that taken care of...
