Smooth Stops

Key for me was to better understand the relationship of throttle to rear brake. Once I realized that a little throttle along with a little rear brake would keep the ride upright as I approached a stop, I found control much better.

Stay off the Front brake when on the last few feet of the stop unless absolutely necessary...it will drive the front forks down and into what ever direction you might have turned the front end...even a little.

The technique works really well for creeping traffic unless you have very high temperatures for long periods of time where engine heat maintenance becomes and issue.

I recommend you go to a parking lot and really work on the throttle and rear brake combination...you'll be pleasantly surprised
