well I contacted the dealer where I purchased the bike and told him about the modification and he said that I am ok and if i change the air intake i would need a fuel tuner at that point. he also said that popping is normal on decelration

Running LEAN makes a lot of the "pop" possible..

ALL Harleys Off the show-room floor, Run LEAN.

I'm not trying to sell you a TFI or Gen3 units but LEAN is the Most of the problem....
You would have a Much better running bike IF you would do a Dobecks unit..

Yes HD says You are OK but I don't want to be JUST OKAY.. I want MY bike to Not run Lean.

The TFI or Gen3 would make a world of difference in ANY stock FI Harley.. Just the exhaust portion and popping shows a need for More fuel...

Well today I went on a ride about 130 miles and it was popping when i let off the throttle and the engine died once comming to a stoplight. I went home and let it get cold (from sitting) and put the stock mufflers back on til i get a fuel tuner. now just have to find one that that won't void my warranty
