Hmm, I didn't know Lowes sold seafoam.
Don't know if it's a Minnsota store only but Fleet Farm sells it for 6.99 all day every day.

I just don't understand whyy some people see the need to install additives to their gas, when the fuel suppliers install their own additives that wiil keep things clean.
What benefits are their to using these additives, or is it just marketing hype?

Yes Mongo, really...
In case you didn't know it gasoline suppliers put additives in their gas allready. However there are some independent stations that don't use additives, and if you buy that cheap gas then I can see the need to install my own.
If you follow the label directions on that can of seafoam, it will increase your total fuel costs by 43 cents per gallon.
