It boils down to time, personal tweeking, and cost. If you want it done well and right the first try, go with the race tuner and have it set up on dyno at the dealer, but check references just owning a dyno doesn't make the dealer or shop an expert, a lot of feel and experience needed to make a good setup. It will cost more than shopping around and finding a track and time to set up your own; but it will be done and you will be smiling and riding sooner.

I paid the cash ($600) to get it done at my dealer, love the ride and have not had a bip of a problem since; money well spent in my mind.
