As your oil wetted clutch resides in there, I just make sure there is good quality lube in there, that is not 100% Synthetic...just a holdover from my metric days and in my Sporty since primary, trans and clutch are one in the same I end up using Spectrol Primary Chain & Tranny lube, it is safe for clutches. If you insist on using motorcycle oil I choose not to use Syn3 and use a fine quality MA (Motorcycle Rated OIL approved by manufacturers) that is safe for oil wetted clutches, (metrics use 1 hole for all three, imagine that picture)!

I had amsoil 20-50 in last year. I had some metal on the mag when I drained It. Went with spectro this time and see what the mag collects.:)

I cant find the Spectro Primary and Chaincase oil. So, I just use the HD oil in my sporty's primary. I figure that will be safe.

Was using Formula+ but have changed to Spectro Primary seems to be smoother clutch & less of a bonk into 1st on cold mornings!
