No, I'm not sure, I just though it would make more sense running a ground from a sensor then a hot lead because the sensor would then need a 12v supply to send, and something has to make the oil light, lite. But Altra found it so all is well

Wire looked to have been pinched by a jack when servicing. plastic wire tie must have broke and allowed wires to be vulnerable.
