Oil Gauge

tlyoungb, It has been a long time that I did the wiring but if memory serves ( years and beers you know) you have to fish the new wires in the wire wrap that the old wire is in and replace the tabs in the connector for the oil pressure unit. The instructions that came with the gauges were easy to follow. If you don't have them you may try to get a copy from the dealer.
 
has anyone found an old analog style (non-digital or LED) type of guage that works if you don't have a console to mount it into? I have a Road King and would love to have a temp guage that I can just look down at from time to time to see without pushing some type of button. Since I live here in Florida, it is really critical to keep track of your engines temp.

A buddy of mine has an older Sportster that has a guage that replaced the cap to his oil tank. He can easily look down and see it without doing anything out of the ordinary.
