I used to use nothing but HD filters in my Dyna and am going to continue to do the same now with my bagger.
I will be using nothing but black 5micron filters.

i just bought my first filter, i bought a wix, not knowing that the oil filter wrench i bought to take off the harley filter doesn't fit a wix. bummer---just f.y.i.

but its to early to know if its a good filter or not

I use HD 5 micron black. Harley filters are made by Champion who also make among others Mobil 1 filters. Will change to K&P in near future because I'm adding a Jagg oil cooler and the K&P keeps the oil pressure higher, this will offset the slight decreased flow as a result of oil cooler installation.
