Bud, does the new seat put you any lower to the ground? Have always wondered if the Sundowner seats set lower than stock. That's my biggest complaint with the RK's, they seem to sit to high for me.

I have an 08 Ultra Classic Electra Glide and purchased a Harley Tall Boy seat and neither the wife or I are comfortable on it. Did you purchase your new seat through Harley Davidson or go with an aftermarket. I am considering taking the "tall boy" seat to an uphosterer and having him put in more padding or adding a gel pack to it. I am 6'6" and could use a little more height from the seat. My knees sit taller than the gas tank with the Tall Boy seat. Ok...so I may look a little like a bear on a tricylce...but the Mrs. and I would like to ride more than an hour before stopping for a butt break (and I don't mean a ciggerette either).
