Nice ride, enjoy it. HD's are very reliable and much better than they used to be. HD Forums (all not just this one) tend to focus much more on problems whether real or perceived. I know, I've spun outta control a few times about my bike only to find out there was nothing wrong with it. Keep it maintained (do it yourself if you can, if not, find a reputable mechanic) and keep it stock. IMO it's the bikes that are modified that tend to cause problems for the rider. I had an 06 RKC that I loved. Only mod I would recommend to you would be a backrest for the rider. definately an improvement on long trips.
