    I'd like to say thanks for welcoming me into your group. I've been riding for over 30 years and just bought my first new to me used 2005 FLHTCI. I love this bike and I realize Harley is very tinkerer friendly. What with all the aftermarket stuff and all I think I'm gonna have lots of fun here. Thanks guys

    Welcome from Georgia. I too have an 05 FLHTCI. Love mine and I’m sure you will love yours too. BTW, how many miles does she have on the clock? If it’s showing 35 -40 K, if you don’t know for sure, the winter months would be a great time to open up the chest and see if the timing chain tensioners have been changed / upgraded, and do it if they haven’t. Just a thought.

    Welcome! Opening up the cam chest and checking the tensioner wear pads is a very good suggestion.
