Need input on a fatboy

If it's ringing for a moment on start, I'm guessing the oil is taking too long to get up to pressure. I've heard dry bearings in a car, due to lack of oil pressure, and it does have a slight ring to it, just before it blows up!

If it turns out to be a solid bike, there's a few other things to consider. Nearly all stock seats on Harleys are not comfortable. If you're only riding 30 minutes or so at a whack, they're not bad. If you plan on logging some real miles--or anything upwards of an hour for that matter--you're gonna want after market seats. I have 2002 Fatty and I love it, but I don't love the seat. Also, I have a switchblade windshield on mine. Take it off because I love the wind in my face, but there's times I'm definitely glad I have it to put on.
