Maybe I should just start a thread asking if I should add a lock to my seat now that I've removed the strap!!

Doc, this has always been the second thing I take off of a new bike, right after the sticker on the speedo! Those things are a pain if you need to get to the batt or anything else down there. Without it, the seat can be removed in a flash.
