laughlin river run

There is not really a long history of violence @ the Laughlin river run it was just a 1 time incident by 2 1% clubs . I have gone for last 4 year & have only seen peaceful people enjoying themselves being harrassed by the police .

you have to sift through all the beans to get to the rocks.

I remember.......riding down from Jerome via some of the old Route 66, though Kingman, Oatman...awesome place for a Kiwi to visit!!, then on down to Laughlin..this was in August and man was it hot..phew!!!!.
Stayed at a Casino by the river, can't remember the name.
The town seemed very false to me, lots of lights and plastic people, but I have heard that the River Run has lost its gloss, I read in one of the Mags that some idiot complained that their kids...KIDS!!! were upset by some of the antics of the bikers...is it a biker run or a kids day out?.
Even down here in NZ if you go to a biker rally you leave the kids at home with the Grandparents and let the older kids party hard!!!!!.
I did win $100 at the Casino though, so it was fun, it was the only time in six weeks that I had a gamble....seen a lot of sad people who thought they could make a buck though at these places...quite sad really.
But would I come back....you bet your bottom dollar I would!!! you guy's and girls rock and you should appreciate what you got cause it is (blinkin) awesome.

Looking at how you got to the river you did the best AZ has to offer, I love AZ the state is a wounderful ride. its much like CA, without beaches. the RR is over rated. I would sugest that riders avoid the high prices and enjoy what AZ and NV really have to offer. lots of cheaper rooms in the area without plastic people.
