Hey guys... I have a Jardine pipe getting delivered later today... as well as some black levers, headlight gaurd, and a nice looking kick ash colored air box cover
I CANNOT wait to get the goods on there. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
Anyway... so the exhaust description claims "better performance". I've heard that is bogus. I was just wondering how it could be. I jetted my TTR 230 last year... which entails, as you know, opening the air box intake, the exhaust, and jetting the carb. Got me about 5% more horses.
Well.. the Jardine is much more open than the stock exhaust.. so the exhaust will be open. The intake is already pretty wide open on the Buell... and the fuel injection will auto compensate for the change of airflow (instigated by the Jardine Pipe). So... after all is said and done changing the pipe is like jetting the Buell... no? I should get an increase in power correct?
... ... not to mention is should sound MUCH more like a Harley!
Thanks
