Since I won't have my new replacement parts in till sometime this week. I'm doing what we all should do when we have our scoots apart and that is to inspect everything for tightness or even cosmetic touch ups. In the picture below I have 3 red arrows pointing out where my clutch cable housing (yellow line) had rubbed against the oil filter mount. It actually made an indentation in the mount. Luckily I discovered this now. Or I would have had a serious oil leak! I used two tie wraps to secure the clutch cable to the frame tube. With our engines being rubber mounted. We must make sure that even though, as in this case the clutch cable housing is mounted to the tranny. All cables or wires mustn't touch the engine, but should be secured against something that doesn't move, keeping it away from anything that vibrates.
