I was in the same spot in the summer of 2007-wanted a RK for touring but it wouldn't fit me. I bought a Heritage and added a Corbin seat which moved me about 2 inches forward and about 1.5 inches lower. With a little adjust on my handlebars I am now seated comfortably. As to comfort-I ride daily and with just over 32 K miles in less than two years I can say my set up now is GREAT!
