I brought the Fat Boy home from customs yesterday, and it's great to have it back on home soil.

After my ride around Vietnam in the Spirit of Freedom, I was looking forward to a Freedom ride in the states. It was more than a coincidence to meet Mike in Nha Trang last Oct and be reminded about this ride, it's like it was supposed to happen.

He's coming up from AZ where we will meet the Vets riding from CA.
We're booked into the ride's recommended hotels thru to Alexandria on the 26th.

After that I'm considering my options for a return, and leaning into the idea for a run to Boston, and then Michigan via the Canada route.

I'd stay out in Manassas, Haymarket or even as far as Winchester. It's a 66 mile ride into town through some nice mts. Pretty good for a 4 lane hwy.
