footpegs wont stay up

YA snap rings...couldnt think of it for the life of me. I think i might go with the suggested bolt and lock nut ideas..That way it is adjustable by me, not by a washer..

As others have said, there are two ways to mount HD style mounted pegs,
1) the HD OEM pin type with concave spring tensioner washer that tensions the works snug IF proper used spacer washer is used with cir clip retainer or
2) the thru bolt mount with washers to take up the slack between the peg and mount and pinch nut to tighten to just the right amount for friction fit.
Either way, sometimes you have to "improvise" to make things work right. On my Küryakyn ISO Mini-Wings, I used 2 concave springs on each side of the peg hinge to tension it snug w/ the pin type mount. On my highway peg mount you have to tighten the pinch nut firmly so the peg friction takes a decent effort to pull it down with your boot.
