Fatboy Service Manuals

In bygone years when I would take on major auto rebuilds I would have on hand Clymers, Chiltons and any others I could buy or borrow. They all have something to offer and I have found tips in one and not in another. Remember the factory service manuals are for the pros and are in most case written that way. I have the Clymers in mind and may order it today at my local non HD dealer. If your gonna do some or most of the work on your ride, it is a cost of ownership. Just like a good lift or even a pro work stand and lift.

I am glad I have the HD Service Manual, but I cannot express how much I would miss the parts manual. It gives you great exploded views (handy when the bike "lets go"...lol), and my parts counter people love it when I come in with part numbers written down.
 
I bought a digital 2007 service manual on ebay for 7 bucks. Better than paper, just print what pages I want, mark it up, get it all oily; ha! print another.
 
I have some old service manuals that have so much grease on them you can't read them anymore. cossak, if you find any parts manuals on line , give a shout.

he is the source of my manual and he probably has digitized parts manuals also. It's an easy process, and as long/until the HD lawyers don't go after him he will sell all the copies he wants,
 
The "silly" 150 post/time rule was made for free loaders that take the manuals and sell them for profit.

I was going to DL one I need, just haven't got around to it yet, still reading the 500,000 informative posts here.

Guess I'll just have to wait untill I have had enough important things to say...

When one has acheived this milestone 150 posts and 150 days? are you automatically eligible for downloads or do you have to contact admin. I just tried and couldn't and I've been burned twice by ebay. Thanks
