Engine noise Tc 103

Hi

Does anyone knows, what is this metal knocking noise in low rpm (about 1300-1400) Dealer say's it's normal, but I don't think so. My bike has only 2900 km. Check my youtube especially end of the video, you can hear it better...

Welcome to the forum....It sounds like the lifters are knocking to me.

Lifter noise is common and normal on a twin cam 103 engine.

Is this knocking because lifters are hitting pushrod covers or what causes this knocking sound?? Is there any way to fix that noise besides loud pipes

Sporty shoulda sounded like a sewing machine,this sounds a little thumpy

What oil are you running? it's been reported that some oils will make the valve train noise a little more pronounced.

Dealer put H-D 360 oil 20w50

Listened to the video several times but the OP did not indicate if the motor was cold or at operating temps. I would like to hear both videos before making a call; one cold (maybe the one in the OP) and one at operating temps.

I do think I hear a little rocker arm rattle which, could go away at operating temps. One solution would be to replace the pushrods with adjustables to set more preload on the lifter but, as I mentioned, I would like to hear the noise at operating temps.
