Did my 1000 mile oil change today and dumped the syn 3.

Metal on primary plug magnet.

Forgot to mention before when i did my 1000 mile oil change i noticed a lot of metal on the primary plug magnet? I would guess 100% of the magnet was covered. When i did my trans and oil there was very little metal on the magnets. You could see about 98%-99% of the magnet. Is this normal?:dknow
 
It's normal to see some fuzz on the magnets, especially when using the Syn 3.
A good gear oil in the trans will virtually eliminate it. In the primary, there's wear in that area from the chain etc when new and you will find some fuzz in there when changing the oil.

Thanks, i feel better now. Just wasn't expecting to see all that on the plug. All part of learning to know your bike.:s
