Did my own paint and was alot of work. During the process I read alot about what to do and not to do. I read and I believe that the best basecoat /primer for new paint (including graphics) is original factory paint as long as its in good condition. When I did my tank graphics, i skuffed the basecoat to make a good base for the new paint to adhere to. Finished graphics, shot clear over top. Polished. Get lots of questions as to how I got it to look "factory" finished. Hope that helps.
