RWB I went to Roscoe's years ago and have learned the hard way that it has evolved to a more mature event. I think now it would be described as an adult event. Back when I went the chili was great!!!

Yes, that would be the word I was searching for, definitely "Adult" type event.

I love chilli, although some of the really competitive chilli cookoffs don't allow beans nor do they allow chunks of meat. It has to be a smooth puree type consistency but ground meat is allowed. I never understood that but I guess "true" chilli doesn't have beans in it.
