Chill in the Air

Still way off from mid 30's, I hope, but invested in a pair of Fox Creek Leather chaps. Now looking for a pair of cold weather gloves and I'll be ready to roll. :)

The temp doesn't keep me off the bike, it's the salt and (EDIT) on the roads that do. My baby will never eat salt. I have rode in 0 degree weather no problem with the cold. Bike runs great too. I don't look forward to the weather turning cold. It's been in the 70's all week and weekend is suppose to be the same. Ride safe.

The best advice I can give is to ride as long as you're comfortable. Everyone will have a different comfort level, those in the south less in the cold, the northerners more able to take the cold.

Then there are the Canadians. This is from one of my Canadian friends on another board.

It's killin me reading these posts, my ride has been down for 10 days, having engine rebuilt. 42 in the morning, 72 by dinner and back down to 50 at night for a week now.
