Need a PN. I am not aware of an SE 10:1 piston for the standard 3.750" bore. 10.25 and 10.5 are available but for the 95" 3.875" bore.

Unless there's a new piston on the market dolt is correct. The 88 needs to be bored to a 95 for the 10:1 pistons to work.

These are the numbers on the piston. 22137-99 030 and on another part of the piston is 3588 or 2588, and HH07.

Ya i didnt think they had 10:1 pistons in SE.

Thanks F.K.

There is a 10:1 SE piston but I don't believe it's for the standard bore 88ci. I believe you'll have to bore it to a 95.

PN 22137-99 is obsolete and has been replaced with PN 22137-08B. The later PN is a 10.5:1 piston for use with MVA or 110+ heads which have a 95-98cc chamber. Additionally, the later PN piston cannot be used with a 4" stroke crank as the pin height is set for the 4.375" crank. I am not sure about the original -99 PN as to whether or not it can be used with a 4" crank; still looking for that information. I would guess that dome volume is somewhere between 11-13cc.

So, before using those pistons you will need to bore to 95" and either cut the dome down or replace the OEM heads with a set of 110+ or MVA heads, otherwise compression will be unmanageable.

You may want to check into the 95 big bore kit instead of a piecemeal approach.
That kit with some decent head work should give noticeable seat of the pants power. JMHO.

Or bore to 98" and use the appropriate Wiseco (3.937" bore) from the table in the link Jack previously posted. 3TQ/HP, at least, for free........;)
