Bike too quiet

The Rush pipes seem to be about $100 more than the Cycle Shack. Anyone know the difference between the two?

And, also, does anyone know where I can find Cycle Shack slip-ons for a pre-2004 sportster?

found these on Ebay....Buy Safe:s the seller has good feedback. I have no personal experience with that seller so I won't recommend them from personal experience.

I haven't made the mod yet, but I'm pretty convinced that I'm just going to take the super cheap approach suggested here:

"To make it louder, you can stick a crowbar in the exit end and twist bend the tab up out of the flow, allowing more exhaust straight outta the pipe."

If I'm not happy with the result, I can always pull out the baffles and bend the tabs back into place.

Yeah, I got similar straight pipes on mine, kept setting off 4 car alarms in the morning on my way to work. Put in matching baffles from Drag Specialties for 'bout $15 and took the high pitched ringing bark out so I am now, dare I say "Neighborhood Tolerant." Oh, and my gal no longer hears the ringing in her ears after riding in the back.
