"Alltime" Worst Place To Ride.

Hwy 280 from Thompson to Gillam in northern Manitoba. 150 miles of crushed granite and gravel and no useful towns in between. Black flies eat you alive whenever you stop and the road is graded daily so you are guaranteed to have loose gravel to ride on. Road it twice 'cuz I'm stubborn.
 
And they call it a highway? :lolrolling

Actually it's designated as a Provincial Road:D, which in Manitoba means it may or may not be paved. And in Manitoba's north, the gravel roads are smoother than the pavement because they aren't as negatively affected by frost heaves.

That makes sense, kinda hard to grade pavement. :s
