2000 Dyna

ok took off bowl float stuck acceleator pump cloged cleaned all put back now it runs but only with choked pulled some progress what now ?:small3d014:
 
If it runs only when enrichener is pulled, the slow jet or slow jet circuit may be clogged with old fuel varnish. Best way is to pull carb and thoroughly clean the body and passageways. Quick way is to spray carb cleaner (use the straw) into the slow jet and hope it blasts it open. Attached is a link to show you where the slow jet is (note: slow jet has been removed from the orifice in the picture). Engine side of carb is next to his watch band. If the jets are varnished and clogged it might be easier and quicker just to replace the jets

follow up removed carb replaced slow jet,cleaned main jet cranked right up ran great neighbors a happy camper thanks again for all your help:bigsmiley11:
