Who Makes The Harley Oil & Chemicals

Ever wondered just who makes the oil and fluids you use in or on your motorcycle that bares the Harley-Davidsonâ„¢ name. I see and hear this question asked all of the time so with a little research I came up with the following. Are CITCO and Chemrite Ind. established names in their respective industries and do they distribute quality products? I don't know as CITCO is not a brand name in Canada and I haven't heard of Chemrite Ind. Tks.

Hugo Chavez is the man behind the Citco corp. and has no good feelings for America at all. Many have stopped buying Citco gas and using his products.

I now have about 300 miles on my harley and I did change the oil at 100 miles and put the harley oil back in it. My question is should I continue using harley oil until the 1,000 mile inspection or can I switch over to mobil 1 synthetic now? Thanks

You can switch to a good oil instead of the syn 3 at any time. The CVO bikes come from the factory with synthetic (syn 3) in them. Use the M1 and not the syn 3, much better oil.
