White spark plugs.

Put new spark plugs in my Sporty today. When I pulled the stock plugs I noticed that the plugs were "frosted" white. It was like you sprayed them with some sort of powder underarm deodorant. Not a fluffy build up or anything just a white color on the exposed threads (about 1 1/2-2 threads) and the electrodes themselves. Is this normal? Maybe the bike is running a little lean? I have SE II muffs with the baffles removed but nothing else is altered. I haven't noticed any performance problems except a little (very little) loss of power on the very bottom end form the muffs. Had a little pinging last Summer on a few high speed passes. Other than that, no problems.

I agree with Hobbit to put the baffles back in, they are needed to run right and the white color on the plugs is lean. Most fuels today will give you some color on the plug but that is from the additive packages and usually not the mixture itself.
