Here's a few suggestions for pulling the newer wheel bearings without damaging them.

I changed out wheel bearings this weekend. I used a tool I got on eBay for $15.00. I found that with a little heat and the tool the bearings came right out. I used a piece of 3/4'' threaded rod and some large washers and the old bearings to press the new bearings in.

Speedyron, I got the tool from Sportingforless. The tool is Harley wheel bearing tool # T02. It inculdes a 1" and a #/4" collet and a drift tool to spread open the collets. This tool works without spending the big bucks but the heat really makes the difference.
