I posted a thread about my battery issue I had on my 2015 CVO Limited.
The new battery also went low after a week off the tender, I did a draw test buy removal of the Maine fuse and using the digital multimeter, and after the alarm timed out there was no draw.
Next I tested the stator for short to ground and it is in specs.
I tested the stator for continuity and again in specs.
I tested stator output and again in specs. Also the connector pins looked clean. I didn't check the connector that feeds voltage to the battery, only the stator side of the regulator.
The reason for doing these tests is because the voltage gauge is steady until the RPM crosses 2500 then the gauge begins to twitch up and down about a volt or more and gets close to the red line but never below 13.5 area.
I did find the battery cables a little loose, tighted as needed.
The battery has not gone down after a week or more off the tender but the voltage gage still does the twitching.
Didn't find any other loose connections and the gauge acts up sitting on the stand once I get to 2500 RPMs.
Could the regulator be causing this?
