joined the USMC in 73 got out in 75. 2/4 3rd marine div. Was also on a few ships while waiting to go ashore. God Bless

Hey no fair IBA saying you didn't have to ask you wife in that other thread. You probably are away most times and she won't even know LOL ( just kidding IBA, I realize all Navy personel are not at sea all the time )

My Dad (passed on now) was in the Navy. He was on an old Carrier that had a wooden deck called the Coral Sea. Probably been scraped for sure now.
